Try spreading the pins on the connection, worked for me. - R2DillonExplorerMy camera was doing the same thing and I found a good rap on the monitor would fix the loose connection
- seatecExplorerON another note. I tore my dashboard appart to get the archaic backup monitor out. Also pulled the camera from the back out fo the hole. Donot really know how to test if either is working properly beccause the cable they used is si proprietary that you cant hook anything up to either camera or monitor. What happend was that at first the picture stared fading out as if the sunlight was overwhelming the camera but as time wnt on it got progressively worse. Now it will just show a brigth screen regardless of what mode i havw the monitor switched too. I was scouting aroud for a replacement monitor and camera and maybe even a side view Camera but was shocked when i saw the prices.
- seatecExplorerOk ordered the converter and it's on the way. Will let you guys kow when it arrives and how it pans out. Thanks again for all your help.

THanks PAceArrow. THats the 55amp one. I have a 75 amp one so i'd have to get the 9875. thanks for all the input guys.
Why do you think you have to have the 75 amp one? I had the same converter you had, a WFCO 75 amp wasn't it? I replaced mine with the Progressive Dynamics 9270 amp. I'm sure a 55 would have been more than I'd ever need. Figure if you turned on every 12volt thing in your motorhome plus charging some batteries that happen to be low and running a decent sized inverter I think off hand, you'ld be hard pressed to require more than 55amps worst case scenario. I might be missing something but this was my quick estimate when I selected the PD70. As I recall there was a big jump in physical size and cost when going above the PD70 with Progressive Dynamics.
Pace Arrow just put the big ones in there because that's what they do. If your Pace is equipped standard as my 36 ft is, you'll never need a 70 or 75 amp. But,I could be wrong!
Pat - LobstahExplorerDon't have a washer/dryer. But amazon gives the dimensions...

I bought this replacement from Amazon:
Progressive Dynamics PD9270V Inteli-Power 9200 Series 70 Amp Converter/Charger with Built-in Charge Wizard
$180. There were cheaper ones, but this got the best reviews, and it's worked flawlessly since installation. It fit in the same space my old one came out of, which was a plus.

Did this one fit where the old one sat? Undeneath the washer dryer? - seatecExplorerTHanks PAceArrow. THats the 55amp one. I have a 75 amp one so i'd have to get the 9875. thanks for all the input guys.
- dcbrewerExplorerI replaced mine with the 90 amp Boondocker, seems to do good. No more lights going bright and dim.
