Refrigerator problems while driving finally solved.
Well after 5 seasons of driving I am happy to report we can finally drive down the road with the refrigerator on gas and not have it continually go out on our 37C. The Dometic air foil kit we installed on the top outside vent (not the bottom vent that we previously tried) has finally fixed the problem. We installed the air foil kit parts in the forward most position and have had 3 successful trips with the refrigerator running.
Meme & Ray,
Do you have a link or part number for the kit?
My propane alarm goes off while driving (never while parked) if I have the frig on propane.
I have had the system checked for leaks none found.
Thanks in advance for you help. - Papa_MelExplorerThe generator switch on the dash of my 2004 Pace Arrow 37C won't start the generator. The switch at the generator works fine. What do I look for and how to repair? Also, the steps to the MH locked down. I will need a new kit to replace a circuit card and the like. If this happens to you, go under the steps and remove the pin that attaches the mechanism to the steps. There is a cotter pin that has to be removed first. Tie the steps up while traveling.
Thanks in advance,
Mel - Bird_FreakExplorer IIIs this the reason my door squeaks going down the road? I haven"t been able to find the squeak and it drives me nuts.

This is a common problem. The small black stud on the inside of the main door presses against the screen door release when the doors are latched together. After a little wear the stud does not push the screen release latch enough and the screen catch will not clear the inside screen holder.
I bought some of those small rubbery/plastic feet that you place on the bottom of items so they won't scratch a desk or table. They're sticky on one side. Get a small one and stick it onto the small black stud. This gives it more movement and will hold the latch clear when the door's are closed.
By doing this it might make it a little more difficult for the screen to latch itself to the main door after you've separated the two doors, but you can easily reach in and help the latching yourself. It's a minor effort compared to the initial problem. - Meme_RayExplorerNOTICE OF WORKHORSE RECALL ------------------
In the past year we have had this problem with all 4 of our disc brakes on our 2004 37C Pace Arrow. I talked with Workhorse earlier this week and was told that notices would be going out in June to effected vehicle owners. If you have had repairs already made you should still be able to file for reimbursement but need to contact Workhorse for a reimbursement form. There is a number towards the bottom of this e-mail. Be sure to have your VIN# available or be prepared for the Customer Service rep to hassle you a bit. WH should still be able to search for your vehicle if you tell them the name it is registered under. You will also need proof of repair and proof of payment. Just a copy of the bill from the repair facility is not enough.
If you notice that you have fluid steaks on any of your tires or some odd stains you are probably having this problem and may not be aware of it. It was a little unnerving when our breaks went out in the Smokey Mountains last month and frustrating when we had to pay to have our breaks repaired for a 3rd time.
Hope this helps some of you.

- dkingdoeExplorerHello, Pace Arrow owners. This thread has been quite for almost a month. Guess everyone’s out enjoying their MHs.
I’m having an issue with the screen door latch on my PA. It constantly hangs up and causes the door to jam. Several times when this happens you have to really yank on the door to get it open. Well, this last time it broke the screendoor latch right off the main door.
I was wondering if any of you HAVE this issue or HAD this issue and HOW did you solve the problem? I’ve been looking at replacing it with something completely different, but I’m not sure exactly with what?
I would GREATLY appreciate any suggestion or solutions.
Thanks in advance. - Meme_RayExplorerRefrigerator problems while driving finally solved.

We had a problem early last season with a leaky front hub seal that resulted in a cracked rotor and ruined break pads on the passenger side of the coach. We were convinced that the problem was caused by a very poorly maintained road we traveled on during one of our first trips of the season. Less than a year later the problem was back again but this time the service tech realized that the problem might be caused by inferior plastic calipers that cause the center caps to overheat and become distorted and leak thus causing the rotors to crack and also ruin the brake pads if things get that far. Calipers on newer models were changed to metal from plastic and evidently do not cause the problem. Our PA is a 2004. Our extended warranty did cover about 1/2 of the repair bill both times.
