- ParrotguyExplorerH. B.,
I assume you are talking about the plastic feet which are at the end of the metal arms which secures the large slide out in a closed position.
I replaced them once under the warrantee, then they broke again so I decided there was no point to replacing them again. I use it without the feet which works fine as best as I can tell.
The only downside is it puts an ugly mark on the rubber seal. The bedroom end is not visible. In the front end the mark bothers me but I wasn't sure what to do except clean it regularly.
I don't really see why it needs the feet which were poorly designed.
It needs to be able to swing around I think to both close and land flush on the wall.
Let me know what you do.
Thanks, Gary
Gary - dcbrewerExplorerGary, I have the 06 36D, have you had any trouble with the plastic foot on the full slide lock breaking, have had 2 break on mine. I am thinking about having 2 made from aluminum.
H.B. - ParrotguyExplorerRe: Water Pump wire polarity.
For those keeping score at home, I figured out how to operate my tester and confirmed that the red with green stripe is positive, white with red stripe is negative ("05 Pace 36D)
Since red is usually always positive, why use a red stripe on the negative lead???
Pump in and working OK. I removed some carpeting I put in to reduce noise guessing that it may have added to the heat problem. The old pump was untouchably hot and it had not been running??
Gary - wa0mqeExplorerOur 36B was the same way. No matter what regulator I tried their was never enough water. Your problem is not the pressure but the flow. In some cases it could be a built-in regulator at the water connection point. Easily determined by hooking up the hose without an external regulator. If it still doesn't give you more flow then see about replacing that connector. If on the other hand it makes a difference then do what I did.
After reading about it on one of the RV Forums I purchased an adjustable regulator but with a much higher flow rate. Typical flow rates of those inexpensive regulators is 1.0 to 2.0 gpm. The one I purchased is more then double that. 3.0 to 4.5 gpm.
Once this one was hooked up we have very good water pressure and flow. When you are running one of the faucet's and open another before the flow would drop way off, now it's hardly noticeable. More like our stick house now. - dcbrewerExplorerParrotguy, I would use a test light, put wire end to a good ground, than turn on pump switch, check both wires that go to pump, one should be hot and light the test light. that is the one that goes to the red wire on pump. Hope this helps.
- Meme_RayExplorerBad Water Pressure
We have never really been happy with the amount of water pressure we are getting in our 2004 37C since day one when we are hooked up to city water. It is much too low to easily take a shower. We are using a pressure regulator and have tried at least 3 different ones (usually around 50psi) and have even taken the cartridge out of the water filter because it was advised that that may be effecting our pressure. Still no success on good water pressure with city water. We have excellent pressure if we use our water pump.
Does anyone have any suggestions? Do you have a brand of pressure regulator you are using with good success that you could recommend?
Meme & Ray - ParrotguyExplorerI have burned out a second water pump. The replacement, the Shur flow "Extreme series" cautions that the red wire must be hooked up to the positive side. The pump comes with a red and black wire.
The motor home supplies power to the pump with a red with green stripe, and a white with red stripe. I don't know how to determine which is positive.
Can anyone help?
Thanks, Gary - bricotExplorer

Meme & Ray... I went back several pages to find where you posted the original information about the awning issue.
Here's what was shared ... PROBLEMS WITH DOMETIC AWNING ON 2004 PACE ARROW 37c
I am posting this in case anyone else is having problems with their Dometic weather pro awning with the wind and rain sensor features. Our awning has just never seemed to really dump rain water to our satisfaction and we even bent the main tube when water remained on the awning during an unexpected rain storm. We found out recently that we had mismatched awning parts and fabric from the factory which has caused our awning to not perform properly. Our 2004 37C was manufactured in late 2003. If you have a unit that matches this description you may want to check the following information out. If you have a the large Dometic WeatherPro awning that extends from the side door and over the kitchen slide and your awning is mounted on the roof and not the sidewall of the motor home you should look for a special number that is visible on the tube of your awning when the awning is fully extended. You will find a white sticker with some awning information on it located on the tube near the end that is nearest the front of the motor home. Look for a number that is hopefully 845 that indicates the length of the fabric on your motorhome. 845 is correct. If you have 815, 825, 835 your fabric could be the incorrect length for a roof mounted awning and it will not dump water properly. If you have already had to have your awning tube replaced because it bent from a previous problem try to verify what the numbers were on your original tube and not the replacement tube you now have. Our dealer was smart enough to keep our original awning tube sticker information with our service records when our tube was replaced back in July and this information helped verify that we had the wrong length awning material installed at the factory. These awnings are under warranty by the manufacturer for 3 years so don't delay contacting Dometic if you have this problem. Your time is running out.
Had the first opportunity to look for the numbers you've been taking about. Well, low 'n behold we found the sticker with Product #958303334 / Model #815-EE20.001U / Serial #52270523 / date 06/07/05. So the number you're talking about is the 815 in the model # ... :E
Rich & Cheri ... check yours out! Could be why you had issues.
Hope this helps.
Had the same problem on my '04 36B - they replaced it a year or two ago, dumps pretty well now. - Paul_TurpinExplorer

Hi there Fyr guy - we are about to pick up a 2005 Pace Arrow 37C - this will be our first motorhome - trading in our 28 foot 5th wheel on the unit - love the looks - want to full-time it - do you have any words of wisdom for us?
Norm
Congratz i have the same MH on a power platform. Love it!
One question though. i think i have a bad filler valve that switches from city water to fill! When im on city water the tank slowly fills up. My questions is this. how do i get the hoses with the blue collar of the valve so i can replace them? they are on there pretty tight and dont want to ruin them. thanks!
Had the same problem and also thought it was that valve, but it turned out to have been the water pump. There is a check valve built it the water pump and when it goes bad, it will allow the city water to pass through the pump and go into the holding tank. - seatecExplorer
