Low point drain valves replacement

Question

Hi. All 3 of these valves are leaking.https://ibb.co/9tky4wTI cut 1 out and bought a SharkBite PEX valve. Apparently the lines look like (to me) PEX, but it’s not quite PEX. The PEX rings just wad up the line, like this:https://ibb.co/hYd0GgFAny ideas?Thanks a lot.

Second photo shows a compression ring quite possible the wrong size.

I think you’re right! I think I used the 3/8 die for 1/2” line, thank you!!

I use this type PEX crimpsInexpensive tool! Use same style on my sprinkler system.Push to fit fittings are also good. Sharkbite is one brand but little higher in price.

I don't know what size tubing you have, but it looks looks like you used a 3/8" fitting when you need a 1/2" fitting.
