Cu2,
You are from Victoria. I knew someone who converted a VW Trakker He lives several blocks from me. He now has a Sprinter based B, he recently bought.
Yes I am. Looked into VW tracker good size but reviews showed unreliable, hence Sprinter. Little did I know that everything I touched had to be modified.
Very nice job. Makes mine look depressive.
Anyone know of the best stuff to use around the external Plastic accessories.
Tried sikaflex - its changing color to yellow and worst of all the DIRTY it sucks on everything. If there is nothing better then might have to paint it. - Cu2Explorer

I used to do a lot of fiberglass repair work on boats. Easiest way to apply the surface color you want is with a gel coat that can be purchased by the quart in a variety of colors and brushed or rolled on. For a "spackled" look, buy a small quantity of a contrasting color, dip a small brush and then flip the brush with a flip of the wrist to get random droplets scattered on top of the base color. And for a non skid surface use gel coat that has grit added to it.
Oo Tried gel coat it was very thick. Ended up putting resin over the top cause I couldn't sand it enough to polish it. Way too hard. Might of used too much hardner? - RobertRyanExplorerCu2,

- mlts22ExplorerIncredible work. I love the pictures, especially how you installed the cartridge toilet.
- FunroverExplorerThis is great, looking forward to how this turns out!
- Cu2ExplorerFitting back wall to SHOWER & WC
Taps - WC - Shower
Another hole!
Bummer this WC is a manual flusher. Here's me thinking no big deal I will save on running 12v cable. But didn't realise this baby needs a second hole for filling water. Also how's this IT DONT FIT it made for a thin wall not a van size wall. So now no connection possible - had to dream a little to work a way out to fill water into it. Mmm
After a lot of thinking. I got it. Just make 2 plastic circles with little holes in them and join it with a pipe using sikaflex glued it all together.
No major dramas except for the back of taps which had to be modified to fit.
Had no choice in the level of taps as any higher would of been non accessible at the connection. After having to renew that on my RV every year it is essential. - Cu2ExplorerNow dreading the next bit, which I'd been procrastinating to do. The first hole in the body work.
Dad was discouraging - get a pro to do it. He ran away before I started couldn't watch.
Well I'd spent 1 full day making sure the hole would be correctly positioned.
It could only fit if the WC was raised. Hence the raised surface of the Shower base.
So here we go, no turning back now as I attempt to drill the first guide hole the bit kept on sliding away. Ok so I went inside and drilled from there easy. Went to check outside ..... WHAT THE !!! It's in the middle SH.....T I need the panel for the door and now it will have a hole in it.
240V wires showing.
Not bad - used a jigsaw for that. It jumped around too much horrid. Damaged the masking tape and nearly the enamel. Sanded back and make edges smooth then rust proofing the edges of bare metal.
Here using the cut out to put in the door frame.
Few I was lucky enough that the hole was covered up by the shape of the frames corner.
