Merchandiser warning

Back in January I ordered a switch from myrvpartsplace.com. On Jan. 27, 2015, the payment posted to my account. Now here is is February 13th and no part. No big deal right? Well, they won't answer the phone or return voice mails. Nor will they answer emails. Multiple voice and emails. So, do business with them at your own risk.
  • Sorry for the delay in response, been sick. You do not want details! Yes, I emailed comments, firmly but politely. Yes I disputed the charge. Just very disappointed. Their website still shows ships in 1 or 2 days. I guess I've been lucky. Very few online ordering problems. Here's hoping for Karma.

A flip side story: (Good supplier or so it appears)

A short time ago I was watching an episode of Amateur Logic, or Ham Nation where George Thomas was thumbing through a catalog for a company: All Electroincs.

They have some interesting prices on some useful junque including several window riser motors (not sure if any are compatible with Kwikee steps abut at less than fifteen bucks.... Might be worth checking out).

Well, I have a problem with one of my radios... (Nothing wrong with the radio itself but a home made adapter, one of the components failed) All Electronics has the needed part, and some other stuff I use all the time as well so I decided to "Stock UP".. I made that decision yesterday afternoon/evening and placed an order.

This morning, once they got the Internet back up here in the park so I could get E-mail.. The shipment is already 4 scans into delivery
(Shipment info sent... Picked up... Arrived post office.. Left Post office) even 24 hours and it's half way here.

sorry offf topic, but I love those older Fleetwoods with the tags
  • The address listed on their website is a single family residence on a residential street with a 5'ver parked next to the garage according to Google Maps sat view. That suggests to me that it's likely a one person online shop that uses drop shipments from the vendors for order fulfillment. Nothing wrong with that in itself, but if anything happens to that one person, then everything stops. It could be as simple as them being away on an RV trip and they've lost Internet access, or it could be much worse. If anyone on the forum is located near 7379 Lakeside Dr, Riverside, CA, perhaps they could stop by for you and inquire. And notifying your credit card company of the non-delivery, no contact status is not a bad idea either.

  • There are a couple of websites that can be consulted to see if a vendor is reputable. They are "resellers.com" and "ripoff report". The first website has saved me several times from using a bad vendor. If the vendor does not appear on these 2 websites, you have to decide if you want to patronize it. Sorry, I am not sure how to post a link.
  • Thanks for the heads up. There are many good on-line sources to get parts such as e-trailer. I'll put this one on my avoid list.
  • On their website, they take suggestions and comments. You might tell them that you posted this comment and then give them the URL to it.
