MH collision mitigation system
Anyone know of an aftermarket collision mitigation system for a Class A Diesel? Just to distinguish, not a warning system but a true passive braking system. Thanks Mike

Our Newmar King Aire had the Bendix system available as an option. I'm told about half the customers take that option. It's a love it or hate it system. I'm on the "hate it" side of the debate.
Unfortunately, the Bendix will not come to a complete stop and only applies about 1/3 of the available braking power. Additionally, it only works when the cruise control is on. Otherwise, it's just an annoying beep that can not be turned off ever and goes off a lot in heavy traffic.
If they included the ability to turn on / off the system at will, I would have added it to my coach but during my test drive in heavy traffic, it was apparent that the constant beeping would shortly drive me insane.
