Well I just recently got a new Monaco Diplomat 43dft. The fit and finish was great in our unit, the only issue on walk through was a scratched toilet seat lid. Since then we have had about 5 or 6 little issues that I was easily able to fix myself.
We also looked at the Newmars, they we're really nice but did prefer the drive and handling of the RR10R chassis compared to the Freightliner.
The air leveling on the Monaco is a great option in my opinion.
So far we have no complaints or regrets with our decision.
