And so in another thread the windshield had cracked and popped out of the frame because the operator wanted to bring the slides in before the jacks fully retracted? I understand the thought that it would be more convenient tied into the brake circuit but the question in my mind would be why did the chassis engineers decide against it. Not hard to do just tie the relay signal into the brake on signal and done and yet why was it not done that way. The smart wheel was originally used in the trucking industry and then dropped due to failures. Prevost designed there own and now have one that works fairly reliably.
