I bought a new 2012 Coachman Encounter at MHSRV dec of 2011. They made a decent deal on my trade, and the best price I could find on the unit I wanted. This past dec took my unit back for a few warranty items and they were very helpful in getting all items resolved. Some friends of ours recently took their class C there and traded up to a 3008 Class A. We both recommend them and would look to use them in the future.

We just recently purchased a 2013 challanger from them and was totally satified. No pressure sales they gave up the best price which was considerable lower than other dealers with no haggleing. Would highly recommend them.

A suggestion: if you travel to TX to look at a MH, arrange before hand to have it inspected off-site. We flew to OR after negotiating for our unit and had it inspected by a local Cummins Service Center, which worked out very well for us.

I live fairly close to MHSRV and was there recently. We were in the market for a clean circa 2005/2006 motorhome and they had quite a few there on consignment. They say a picture is worth a thousand words, but I learned that an actual visit is worth a lot more. The ones I picked out from their website that looked so nice were quite a disappointment when I got there in person.
Nothing against MHSRV, as they are a great dealership, but on the consignment units, they're selling what someone else wants to get rid of, and these units are not detailed and serviced as one would be if the dealer owned it.
My advice to anyone trying to choose a motorhome based on internet pictures would be for them to try to find someone locally who is unbiased to check it out personally and give it the "sniff test" before spending big bucks for a plane ticket.
I got lucky and found a pretty pristine 2005 Newmar Dutch Star at Professional Sales RV in Colleyville TX that was being traded in for a new Newmar on the day I got there. I was the only person to get to look at it. Just a subtle plug, but I found the people at Professional Sales RV to be the best I've ever dealt with.

Bought an 07 Zephyr last year from them. Flew in to DFW, the owners grandson picked us up and drove us down to the dealership. The coach was spotless, looked like it was never used. 8 new Michelin tires and 2 new chassis batteries.
The only 2 items that did not work was the solar charger and the washer cold water inlet valve. The coach was under a canopy so the solar charger was not found and the washer inlet was not found for several weeks. One thing to look for is, they claim to change all the fluids and filters, not this time. the oil was changed,, but not the filter??? Would I buy there again,Yes. Jimmy made sure we were well taken care of. They even provided us a car for running errands.

Looks like someone like their service department.

They do advertise on there website about how great they are at selling to us Canadians

Went there to buy a used alpine several years ago. I questioned the condition of the coach and asked please don't make me fly there and not have it be what was represented on the internet and phone. I was told they had never had anyone come to buy a coach and not buy due to it not being what they represented. We went there and found the coach was a consignment, it was filthy, hair in the sinks, vent grills off of the furnace, the driver seat arm rest was broken and pointed toward the floor, most if not all of the seals and gaskets on the external storage doors were coming off and hanging loose. Sales rep said yes they had tried to have the owner detail the unit but they didn't want to spend any more money on it, that the gaskets were a know factory defect but could be fixed. I wondered what other problems this mh had that I couldn't see---so we nixed the deal. Now I did buy another unit from them instead of the one I went to buy originally and am pleased with that purchase. So was it a bait and switch??? I don't know but it sure could have been. I was very disappointed in how they represented the Alpine--still am. Hence the reply to your question. So if it is a used MH that you are considering, do be inquisitive and ask for a lot of pictures before traveling there.
