- univmdExplorer33,000 is very low mileage, too new to replace! We have twice that amount of miles.

And I thought your wife was too smart to fall for that. Guess my 04 may have to become a 06... then a 07.:W - MagillaGorillaExplorerI cant wait to take delivery on my new 10 year old unit. I love that people trade them in just because they are 10 years old. Our new one ahs 14k miles on it and looks brand new.
- NomadacExplorerOur MH is a 2003 model with 50K and still like new. It has everything we need or want and have no plans to upgrade. I could do a lot of upgrading for what a newer one would cost.

- jwmIIExplorerAssuming your 10 year old motor home is in good shape it would be a waste of money to buy a new one and then embark on all the many dog and pony shows with dealers and builders to get a new one in condition to put on the road. Think about it. Yours at 10 years old and 33000 miles isn't even broken in yet. If it is in good condition, clean, etc, etc, it is at the point where I like to buy them and either use it a few years or really spiff it up and flip it for a good profit.
- MagillaGorillaExplorerI buy them when they are 10 years old!! I cant justify a new one based on how little we use it. So we look for a low mileage 8-10 year old when we buy.
When we look there seem to be a lot of one owner MHs in that range so to answer the actual question in the OP.........yes it seems like a lot of people trade them in at 8-10 years old. - horizon36ExplorerOur coach is 13 years old and we don't plan to replace it. We are, however, doing another remodeling job to change out some furniture. Last fall we switched to a residential fridge and love it.
You know your coach and the engine is just at break in mileage, why change? As the song goes: "It's cheaper to keep her" - sdianel_-acct_cExplorerWe have a 2004 DP with 110,000 miles on it and we're keeping it. We haven't seen anything that we like as well.
- LVJ58ExplorerOur 2000 gas coach now 15 years old works just fine for our needs so can't see spending the $$$ for a newer model either gas or diesel.
