Move water heater switch

Just turn it on and leave it on.
Your water heater at home is ON all the time.
Mine is on continuously.

it would not be hard to move,BUT I,d be asking the dealer why its out there? and I would not leave it on all the time, if the tanks empty and you turn it on you,ll burn up the heating eliment.

this is a electric only HWT I will assume.? seems very odd to me there is no inside switch? maybe its on a dedicated breaker if so switch it on/off that way

If this is the 120 volt volt switch, it is the safety. There should be one inside. You could put another one around the 120 volt breaker panel.
I would use a lighted switch. Lit in the one position.
Check your monitoring panel closely for switch.

Rather than move the existing switch, simply add another in series with it. That way both switches have to be on to work and either one can disable it.

I seriously do not believe they put a all electric water heater in a MH and there is no inside switch to operate it

I'm assuming you are referring to the little 'rocker' safety switch on the 'Suburban' water heater. If that's the case, you can use the inside breaker to turn it off. We always left it on unless we wanted to go strictly with propane on a 15 or 20 amp electrical site. Then we would turn off the breaker.

It is hard to believe but every time I go to RV shows I am amazed at the lousy ways they find to save a buck. They've figured out the things that we might not notice until we go to use them.

No,it runs off propane also..I used the breaker to kill it last trip. But being older it is a long way to the floor and back to diddle the breaker!!!
