If anyone is willing to give me 50 ~ 60K I will gladly get rid of the Palazzo today. When I come to grips with the fact that I have to give up all that money I will walk into a dealer and give it to them on a trade to get out of it. This will most certainly happen when the Palazzo is out of warranty and the first time the large slide out fails is when I will have no choice but to get rid of it. That will be the end of this story.
For now, as long as I do own it, I will let my problems be known. If you go through my history you will see I've owned 4 different RV's since 2003. There was a lot of time in those years I didn't make too many posts because I never had any issues like this. I have shared my good experiences and bad ones. As long as I follow the rules of the board I don't see why anyone has a problem with my comments. I do hope that someone from Thor sees my issues here. For every single problem I have encountered, Thor customer service has been notified in writing by me. The issue I have right now is time and trying to figure out when and where I will be able to take the Palazzo for repairs. My plan is to take it back to Elkhart at the end of the warranty period sometime next year. I will have all issues addressed.
I hope the RVing community will get something out of this. Whether it's spite or insight that is for everyone to decide. If anything I can influence people to think long and hard about the choices they make. People can read this with a grain of salt. That is fine by me. What I do know is I have made my issues public and I have nothing to hide. I am just a hard working person like everyone else and the money does not come easy.
This Motor Home has been a life long dream. When I am not working (slaving for the man) this Palazzo is my escape, our families escape from the daily grind. How in the world can it be all that with all the problems we have had? I would consider this on the extreme end of the scale. I know all RV's have problems. Heck, I've been through 3 others and have had warranty work on every one of them. I get it.
Just curious why you would wait until the end of the warranty period to have things fixed. Make your list and take it back so that they can start working on it. If they have to paint it, the paint will likely match better while it's still brand new.
I wish you the best of luck, your video shows your true frustration and I hope that you can move forward and Thor will fix your issues.

I'll trade you an ACE for a Palazzo. I think the value is about the same. ;) - OhhWellExplorer

It appears Thor is shaking in their boots due to the negativity. http://news.investors.com/business/060314-703106-thor-industries-earnings-growth-seen-faster.htm
Yup, they have a business model that works very well in this economy. It is truly sad but it is what it is. The wal-mart parking lot here is always full as well even though they don't always have the lowest price or a shred of their original Walton "values" these days.
He may influence a few people to stay away from Thor or at least look a little deeper before buying. If I were in the market for a new coach, it sure as heck wouldn't be a Thor product, no matter how high their earnings get. I don't really see how their profitability has anything to do with their quality; instead, I think it is something of an inverse relationship in this case. If you just spit out as many coaches made for as cheap as you can and do the bare minimum to support them after the sale, you are going to do well. They will continue to do well because these days, a low price seems to be the primary thing influencing buying decisions. - 93mastercraftExplorerIf anyone is willing to give me 50 ~ 60K I will gladly get rid of the Palazzo today. I believe I would file a lawsuit against this company.

The sad part of this is the only one hurt due to this post is the OP. All this complaining will not influence over 10 purchasers. OP has the MH and can not get rid of it due to the conditions he has described in detail. If he tries to sale it and does not disclose all the flaws he has described, he is subject to legal action due to his knowledge of the flaws. I ask all the posters, who is the winner here?
Certainly not the OP. I know from previous expierence, a perfect MH is not available on the market. Why did he not put the MH up for sale when it was delivered to him, before he took it apart and found all the flaws? Chances of recouping some money was much greater then than now. May the force be with you. :S
I suspect that you underestimate the power of Internet forums and social media, when combined with informed purchasing.
But if you read all MC posts, he was a informed purchaser. He just chose to shrug it off. As will many other people using the power of the Internet forums and social media who use this for informed purchasing reasons.
It's not as effective as you think. People will just believe it won't happen to them. I'm not surprised one bit MC has all these issue on his second MH. In is first post months ago it was suggested he dump it as soon as he got it home. Even at a loss. Instead he's tearing it apart looking for problems. He finding them, not to anyone's surprise.
It's a absolute rotten shame what has happened to him, but he wasn't the first and won't be the last. They won't build him another, this one will probably never be to his liking ( which was brought up months ago, before he took delivery).
I wouldn't allow myself to be put through this if it were my rig. It would have been gone a long time ago. - peaches_creamExplorer

I think you "overestimate" the influence of this forum on "new purchasers". The majority of new members have already purchased MH before they find this site. Were you a member before you made your purchase or after? - cKarlGoExplorer
