That's what I have in my house DEKA (Flooded wet) Six volt,, I upgraded a few amp hours when I "Dropped" (Actually lifted) them onto the battery tray in place of the Interstate U-2200's the rig came with.

Them suckers are HEAVY.. I was able to handle the U-2200's but I could not lift the DEKA's onto the tray, had to have help with that.

I have used #3 for years when conditioning four batteries with 12v chargers that were normally in a 48v bank configuration. It is really simple.

Others may say it doesn't matter--but unless there is a compelling reason to not optimize charging and discharging why not do it the best possible way?

You can use these from Autozone to convert from top post to wing nut terminals.

Don't forget Deka Batteries (East Penn). You especially want to look at their Intimidator® line, but they have other AGM batteries. I have two of their regular 8A8D AGM 12 volt house batteries. Can't say if they are as good as the Intimiator or not, but I'm very happy with them.

Best thing I ever did was to switch to AGM batteries. Did not have a pull out battery tray and they were difficult to water and keep the corrosion controlled. No brainer to me. And the results have been excellent.

Lifeline makes a GC-2 size Six volt AGM. http://www.lifelinebatteries.com/rvflyer.php?id=14 Any Lifeline dealer should be able to order them

Let's see, the 105's have a stud, and the AGMs do not? Is that your problem? Or is it the configuration?

I went from Trojan to Lifeline and it's simply a matter of putting a bolt through the connector instead of on the stud.

Basically the output from your bank of batteries has to be 12 volts. So if you use four 12 volt batteries the cables would be hooked up DIFFERENTLY than with four 6 volt batteries. Your 12 volt batteries are all hooked in parallel(+ to +, - to-) while your four six volt batteries have two pairs of parallel hooked batteries connected in series to give you the 12 volts. Sounds confusing but you seem to understand polarity. Not difficult to do if your cables are long enough to connect things up properly. Since you may change to 12 volt batteries, just go with the terminal configuration that works out the best for you since you basically will only end up with one positive and one negative cable as the output.
