- ncrowleyExplorer IIX3 for Corelle. I like them because you can use them in the microwave. I first purchased a colored plastic set from Walmart that were light and resistant to breakage but found out that they bubble if they get too hot. I replaced them with Corelle.
- jhilleyExplorerWe use Corelle and Melamine
- past-MIdirectorExplorerYou forgot the Solo cups and plastic silverware to go with the paper plates. The DW takes the good dishes, silverware, glass bowls, and cups out for special occasions only!!

It seems when I cook I use a lot of extras. If you're fulltiming, you will still need the same things you did in your house, with the exception of "guest" dishes.

- 2_RetiredExplorerI always get a 4 pack of plastic plates at WalMart. 4 for $1! Use them for a couple of months, recycle them, then get another pack. They hold up great for "real food" like a steak or pasta, clean up quickly, work in the microwave, and cost almost nothing!! They are very light too! Even have choices of color!
- hersheyExplorerNever saw those kind of dishes for the last 8 years.....I only see paper plates with different kinds of flowers on them from time to time.
- Movin__onExplorerCorelle dishes work great. They are light weight and don't break easily. We have been RVing since 2007 and haven't had any broken dishes yet. Paper plates are fine for lunch but it's nice to have real dishes for dinner.
- LynnandCarolExplorerWe have some plastic plates and thin wooden salad bowls but the truth is 90% of the time we use paper products. I mostly have disposable alum bakeware. My coffee cups are the real McCoy. Thick to hold my coffee at a hot temp. You will find yourself going through and tweaking it so just don't get carried away to start with.
- revumpExplorerMake them light ... we keep finding lighter ones
