Another vote for Newmar. We bought our new 10 years ago and had approximately 100 custom changes done to suit us and our full-timing lifestyle. At that time they pretty much would do anything you wanted except for any changes that would affect structural issues.
I seriously challenge you on this quote:
We bought our new 10 years ago and had approximately 100 custom changes done to suit us
there is not even 100 things to change on a entire MH
So...what are the stakes?
We re-worked our whole unit to suit us. Many were not major changes. We had more electric outlets, 12V plugs, adding/deleting lights - types of lights - types of fixtures, designing our computer area for our equipment, deeper overhead cabinets..removing items not wanted and replacing with different, adding window sills, choosing a chair option fabric color for the sofa, adding a solid wood headboard, adding more sliders in the pantry, removing mirrors here and adding there, and the list goes on. Yes, you can get to 100 fast!
I wish I could recall a poster's name who was building his Dutch Star around the same time and I'm sure he topped 100.
We had friends that made about 50 changes to a 2007 Monaco Signature which were silly. I'm sure yours were ligament. But, our friends wanted the cabinets out of an Executive and other silly changes that really didn't make that much difference but were very expensive. A normal Monaco Signature at about $750,000 turn into about a Million dollar coach. What a waste on their part.
They tried to sell it later and it took over a year because of the quirky decoration. They had Lime Green sofa's and a black dash with black captain and co-pilot chairs. Not your normal choice. Well, it cost them dearly as it took forever to sell and I'm sure their 2007 coach that was put up for sale in 2012 didn't sell until at least 2013 and sold for less then $250,000 (no confirmation), just a guess. We are not in touch with these people anymore.
