Norcold 1200 fans

I have a National Sea Breeze 06 I had new cooling fans put on the cooling unit of the fridge when it was replaced I can hear them run when it is hot! But when I open the doors of the fridge I can hear them slowing down then stopping and starting back up when door close is this normal

    Yes you can hear them. The fans will spin. They will also break down. cough, another fridge problem.... Dorm or residential is the way to go imho.

    Should you be able to hear them winding down and spinning back up when opening and closing the doors? when running they are quiet!

    Correct. 1200 fans STOP when either lower door is open. Doug

    Fans should get 12V DC thru power board connection
    12V DC Power (+) should come from board to 't-stat' on far right condenser fin then to fans
    Fin Temp via t-stat.....start fans at 130*F----stop fans at 115*


    Need to measure DC Voltage when fans stow down.

    It sounds like the fans are wired to the refrigerator light. When the light goes on the the fans stop.
