Has anyone heard anymore about the Norcold recall court case??

Yep, and it's a unit installed in a slide. I continue to be very suspicious of this installation, if the coach manufacture fails to follow the installation instructions, you will be at risk.

well I look at it and there is zero fire damage in the slide out where the fridge is located so I doubt very much the fridge was at fault in any way- Looks like this fire started near the refrigerator. Really sad.
- I can keep ice cream frozen, if as Doug says I put it near the back of the freezer and the fewer things in the freezer the better. If it's stuffed, the cold may not get to it either.

If you buy the square box type ice cream and push it against the back wall of the freezer, you will get harder Ice Cream. Doug- I don't know what ice cream you have that can't seem to freeze but I've never had an issue with a working fridge of any kind

- I just missed the cutoff date of course. And I have replaced the cooling unit out of pocket 4 years ago.
- The owners of those Norcolds totally deserve all the compensation they can get.
I bought a used RV back in February with a model 841 Norcold and though it's not on any recall list, (yet) I will sure keep my eye on it. Listed it with Norcold so they're suppose to inform me if it ever does get on any recall list. Meanwhile keeping my ear to the ground on RV forums...about the only thing to do about it at this point.
