Did they just install a new 5a fuse on module and reset breaker?

OR

Did they find the cause of blown fuse/tripped CB?
And if so...what was bad. Electric element?

tohare, just to make sure.. have you taken a meter and measured 120 and 12vdc is present at your control board?

He still hasn't said if there is 12V DC to the control box or not. No DC = dead fridge.

Are you positive that is the recall box and not the main control box you are looking at? Doug

1. HAVE you had the recall done? IF not, then the original Hi temp disc will kill all power to the refer
2. IF the recall has been done and installed correctly, you will get a Li Op code on the inside control panel. 1211 models have that feature
3. As another poster stated, you need to check the 2 12 volt power supply wires at the outside rear access for 12 volts positive and Negative.
4. When you do that, look above the existing control box where the wires go on the bottom of the first round cooling unit coil for the Black 3 inch by 3 inch recall box. That is where it will be if the recall has been done.
5. Last, 120 power has nothing to do with the operational controls of the refer, so don't worry about that at this time. Doug

There are no lights and no indicators on the front of the frig. the recall box (outside behind the frig) has no red light. we are presently plugged into 50 amp shore power and everything else is working.

1. Any code showing on the eyebrow?
2. Is the fridge turned ON..??
3. Use a meter, or any lamp if you don't have a meter and ensure 120VAC to the receptacle in the outside compartment.
4. On the small black box inside the outside compartment you'll see two wires at the bottom, a black one and a white one. The black one is 12VDC and the white is a ground. Do you have 12VDC at the black wire?

Do these four simple tests and let us know the results, then we can go further....Dennis

A little help here. What are you seeing on the front panel of your refrigerator?

Has your 12 volt to the house been inadvertently shut off. Your control board for your Norcold requires 12 volts to operate. Your 1211 only require 120 volts AC when it is in electric mode... But 12 volts is required for both AC and propane...

Other than the 12 volt issue the other gremlin is whether or not you have the recall installed and it has tripped...

You will need to see if you have a red light on you control board. which would indicate that the over temp alarm (the recall) has tripped.

It will be helpful if you let us know what your problem turns out to be.
