Another trick I found was misting the upper condenser to jump start a Dometec while in TX and 110 deg heat. I misted about every 15 minutes. This got the box to 0 and 35 in about 2 hours. If misting the coils helps, then you need more airflow/cooling.
My unit is in the slide so for hot days, I just remove the upper vent cover and the fans run much less.
