My Little Brother took the Rv to the shop to get it diagnosed went through the fuel line found that the two wires going to the brushes were switched and the governor adjustment was all the way down.

Concerns that the carburetor is the cause of it not staying running the choke is stuck open i have no clue to weather it is a faulty carb though it is a new carburetor

$400.00 no clue needs to more time

These generators are fairly simple in concept. I think the Onan's are well made and mine has been an extremely good generator. I haven't got a clue how many hours it has on it and I really don't care. The gauge said 144 hours when I bought it and it still says 144 hours. I suspect it's closer to 1000 than 100. When we drive to the beach in the heat of the summer we run the generator and the roof AC all the way there and all the way home.

Both the generator and the AC unit are 23 years old and both work great. In fact, I have a brand new Dometic 13500 BTU AC on my wife's grooming van and it's not even close to the old AC unit on the RV in it's ability to cool even a much smaller space.

the more you use them the better they are 3000hr is not a bad thing for them

its working now used the parts off my moms waiting for new parts apparently the new carb will quit things up on the other hadn my moms generator i am going to tear down completely it only has 45 hours on it though is caked with build up the governor doesn't even work unless you move it by hand first. It will be a interesting rebuild

i had adjust the valves on it once at 25 hours

It might be worth your while to have an Onan pro look at that generator. Might save you some money in the long run.

this relay thingy appears to be the switch for the shore power and generator power



this device plus the computer, fuel pump and since the don't sell the float and the pressure cut off separate have to buy the carburetor too.

only 9,000 miles on rv 207 hours on the generator
