Outside entertainment center

Wonder what happened to the OP?

Well, seems like wee need to take the swing sets, horseshoe pits or other park like activities out of the parks. Entertainment centers have a place, for some. As long as it is a reasonable noise level, I know reasonable is subjective, we should be able to use our systems,like the playground, anyway we choose. I keep my noise to a moderate level but know that my (gas) firepit encourages loud and raucous laughter.

During the day, there will be more noise than at other times. I expect that. I don't expect a stereo war. If my noise is too loud for you, come talk to me or have the host come talk to me. It's gonna happen and I do not want to bother you but there will be some noise bleed and I will not be able to accommodate many of the more finicky people. Sorry about that.

LOL! You can not have camp fires on most RV parks anyways. Where have you been camping?

I have an Adventurer with the outside entertainment center. Yes it has a Jensen radio that is also a dvd/cd player and has speakers. I sometimes watch news while I'm grilling, but mostly we use it to play Wii tournaments among our camping group. Frisbee golf is the current favorite. I ran the wire for the sensor from the Wii to the outside and used velcro to attach the bar. All the Wii controllers are blue tooth so they work right through the walls and I have the directtv remote set to rf.
An interesting aside, we didn't even know we had the outside tv until the pdi when the salesman told us.

We use our outside TV as much or more than the inside TV. The radio part not-so-much. Around the campfire we'll have a game or race on, but many times the sound will be down.

And like everything else in the world, it's not the outside entertainment center that causes the issues, it's the person operating it.

Bill, I have a 04 Winnebago Adventurer 35-U with the outside entertainment center and I hardly use mine! I'm hearing impaired and the DW is always telling me to turn the sound down for fear it's bothering the neighbors. Finally, I just stop using it! In my case it was not worth the extra money!

I agree with Rooster 100%. We had one that come with the coach when new and we removed it and made it a regular compartment to carry more important equipment. We found out that we did not spend enough time watching TV or listening to stereo music outside the coach. It was a waste of money having it.

I use the outdoor entertainment to watch the news in the morning and enjoy a cup of coffee and sometimes catch a football game on a cool evening. I think its a great option even use the radio when friends come to visit
