I have a 2011 Puma Unleashed 5th wheel toy hauler 356QLB I bought used and I am trying
to find out what make is the entertainment unit that came in the trailer...no brand on it
anywhere...I to have it repaired volume won't work...Palomino or Forest River have not
responded to any degree with help..I also need to purchase a remote for this unit...
any help would be appreciated...JHSCST

Gosh! Its black and square! What do other TVs look like? Of course as fast as technology changes I could have missed out. LOL Remotes are universal and can be set by holding the button down according to directions. You don't need the brand of TV.

    That's funny
  • Yes, a techie guy could find your problem, but are you able to determine whether it's the TV sound, the DVD player sound, the radio sound? Maybe it's just a wire loose, or a plug fallen out? For a lot cheaper than $100 an hour, you should give it your best shot because replacement is way cheaper than having it fixed unless it's just a loose connection.

  • I had a no name DVD player/surround sound system (home theater system) in my 2007 5er that also lost all sound. It was mounted in small opening in the cabinet below the TV. Measured the opening and went to Best Buy and bought a new home theater system to fit that opening. Came with new speakers. Used the new speakers with the existing wiring. Sounds much better than the original.
