On my fleetwood, they are not self leveling and instructions say to do the rear first, level l/r then do the front. If they are self leveling you just press a button and they do what they want until level.
This is not true. A LOT of jack systems operate(pump power) off the COACH batteries. BUT, the Touch pad and E Brake control part is activated by the CHASSIS battery. So, you can never be sure which batteries operate your specific Motorhome without you checking. Even the Same OEM(Fleetwood) never uses the exact same wiring and batteries on various models. It all depends on where the Jack Motor pump is located and which sets of Batteries are located by that pump. If one set is closer, they may use those batteries instead, but there is no HARD rule on any brand of motorhome. Doug
