- BumpyroadExplorercan I ask about a TT with twin 20 gal tanks mounted on front? I assumed I would just pull my trailer to the fill up station like I did with my class A but somebody suggested pulling off the tank?

- RetiredHoserExplorerThanks for the information.I do the big drive Sunday to check out the motor home and on Monday I might well be the proud owner of my first motor home, or not!
- krivanjExplorerPlan on having the gauge only reading 3/4 full after filling. They have to leave room for expansion when it gets hot. Normal stuff...
- Norm___DebExplorerMost Flying J or Pilots truck stops have propane.
- JamesBrExplorerMy motorhome, it depended on where I was, but generally campgrounds where easiest, if I had to the local uhaul or prefered closer to home was the local family run RV repair/store.
- DUNEBUGGYDOUGExplorerMost U-Haul places will fill the tank.Just pull up to the tank and bingo they will come out , fill it, you pay and on your way

How do you refill your propane tank?
Do you have to go to a special refill place or do you pull out the tank?
I'm assuming you have a motorhome. The tank in a motorhome is not removable (well, not by design). You need to take it to a place that can accommodate filling a MH. When we had a TT, I used to pull the tanks and bring them to any refilling place in our truck. - wildtoadExplorer IIPulling and empty tank on a Class A is hard enough, installing a full one would be a real pain. Drive it to a propane provider or have them come to you.
