I had a V-10 for six months and I did not think it was that noisy as some claim. It was very tolerable to us, but then when we bought the diesel pusher, it was almost silent in comparison to the gasoline.
The engine was no problem to us on the gasoline motor home. The part I did not like and that is why I traded away is the way they handle on cross winds. To me it was not worth owning one just because of that. So six months later I traded away with only five thousand miles on it. I know that I lost money, but I am happy now and that is all that counts.
