Re decal motor home

My decals on my 2006 Georgetown motorhome are deteriorated on my passenger side has anybody replace the decals and what was the cost and did you get them from the manufacture thanks
  • Mobile sign shops do this all the time. As at your local RV dealer for the name of who they use to replace graphics on used RVs. One side of my fiver cost me 500 dollars. Next time Ill strip and paint the graphics back on myself.
  • I own a 2006 Monaco Cayman that had vinyl graphics. I had them removed and the striping painted where the vinyl was. The cost was 2500.00 including painting a lot of the sides damaged by wear and tear. It is a great improvement over stock. The MH looks way better.
  • I just repainted my graphics. I did them myself. They look 10 times better than before the paint. Lots of tape and time involved to get them masked off correctly. It took me about a week to sand, clean, tape, clean again then shoot the paint. That is working about 4 or 5 hours a day. I used a siphon feed gun because that's what I have experience using but a gravity feed would work just as well. To do the whole thing, it cost me about 1/3 of what donn0128 paid for his one side graphics. I'm also thinking the paint will last longer than vinyl.
  • We took our 2002 Itasca Sunrise to a local graphics shop, they took off the old decals that were faded and peeling at the edges and replaced them with ones they fabricated. They did the back, one complete side and three decals on the other side. It's only been two years, but they still look awesome, like new.
  • My rockwood has the front decal, R only, pealed from having it cleaned.. they hit it with the pressure washer. They also damaged the paint, a spot about the size of small apple. Haven't figured out where to take it yet. Will they have to strip the front cap and repaint? And are the decals available through our dealer? I hope to answer these questions next week with a stop at the dealer. To date they haven't been much help on smaller issues or parts
