- uncle_tExplorermy Monaco has a 14 foot slide with no rollers at all. there is an aluminum rail that slides very close to the floor as it opens/closes. I had laminate installed and just need to use slide slickers to avoid damaging the laminate. works fine.
- ernieeExplorerNo slides need to be removed in any coach. If the dealer says that- leave.
- vectorExplorerYou might consider commercial grade carpet squares or "tiles". The material is tough as nails, easy to clean, warm underfoot, but not squishy like typical carpet pad. The rubber backing is waterproof, and it acts to quiet the coach noise while OTR. It's easy to fit and cuts quickly with a sharp utility knife and framing square. Carpet dealers will sometimes have a bunch of squares leftover from a commercial job and are glad to get it out of the warehouse for a buck a tile. Buy all you think you might need as there may be no going back. Either glue it down with a pressure-sensitive adhesive or use double sided indoor/outdoor carpet tape.
- Kentucky_MaxExplorerCan the floor be replaced in a 2002 Endeavor pusher without removing the slide. I do all of my mechanical and repair but I'm real sure of removing the slide.
- ernieeExplorerAsk away- I'm here and generally check the forums 3/4 times a day- when I'm not working on a coach.
- ScarsExplorerErnie is too modest! Yes is the correct answer and Ernie has a yahoo group Erniesremodeling and he has been very helpful in the past and most generous in providing helpful info. Search flooring or Ernie here and you'll find more replies from him.

- ScottGNomadMany slides don't have rollers at all. Or, they're mounted in the floor under that bit of carpet that's attached to the slide itself and the bottom of the slide glides over them. Either way new flooring should work.
- Mr__JeffExplorerYes! Check your your MH slide configuration. Slides on carpet typically have steel rollers while slides operating on tile or laminate typically use plastic rollers. They can be changed for your new surface if they're steel. Some MH slide-out rollers are easier to change out if you need to change them.
Post your MH brand/model and others may reply with their experiences changing the flooring. - AridonExplorerSure is. Depends on what you have now and how your slides work. Some have room for plank, others only have room for the laminate stuff. Both look good.
