Replacement Awning Sources

Looking to replace the awning fabric on my four winds. Was looking for whole sale sources and recommendations on quality level . I found multiple levels in terms of price and was looking for real world opinions on spending the extra cash on higher quality.
The canopy on my new to me coach was delivered with holes along the seam and plenty of dry rot. I called the camping world Bath NY location, informed them about my awning and asked for it to be replaced, the sales manager told me , sorry but it passed our inspection. Wish i knew how to post a picture so the whole site can see what CW considers acceptable. I never opened the canopy prior to buying, pouring rain, so shame on me I guess. never again will I buy another anything from CW. too say we are disappointed would be an understatement. these are the type of things that totally degrade my taste for the modern day American business. they had absolutely no issues taking my payment in full for the coach and now its see you later buddy.very poor . they lost a very very good customer for a lousy canopy fabric replacement.
Thank you in advance for taking the time to reply.
  • We have an awing that's 11 or 12' long. We used it for maybe a year and I replaced it with a longer one. If anyone has a use for it make me an offer.
  • A local mobile RV service guy ordered the exact color, etc. replacement awning material and installed it for us for a total of $729 parts and labor. The process didn't look all that easy, was a two man job on ladders. Had him install an awning lock device a the same time to prevent future unfurling while driving in headwinds.
  • I was going to do my own by buying the fabric, and chose to use this guy instead:

It's a mobile service in the Phoenix area, and was quite reasonably priced. Shops around here wanted almost as much in labor to replace an awning and fabric as what I paid for the awning installed.

No, I really don't expect the OP to drive to Arizona, but after watching him do the work in about an hour, I'm pretty convinced I would have done the job nearly as well on my own.
  • I thinl camp world has them on sale now. They had fair to middlin pricing, and the covers are available I beleive. They will have call the manuf for model numbers, you will need the number off of the current one. Should be in one of the corners.
  • Sorry about that...I am looking to replace just the fabric....and thanks for the reply..
  • Are you looking to replace the fabric or the whole assembly.
Our awning got hit with hail a couple years ago. It's a A&E with aluminum weather shield. That required I get OEM fabric. Best place I found was Makarios RV.
If you do not have any special needs. Look at Shade Pro.
