Hi there everyone, Does anyone know of a RV repair place in the Sacramento area that will do a true diagnostic on the refrigerator other than staring at it and saying "Yup, you need a new refrigerator". We'd like someone who while actually do a diagnostics on the control board. We know the unit works great under propane, but under AC, it doesn't work. 1Both fuses on the control board are ok. 2 There is power to both AC Outlets, one for the fridge and one for the ice maker. 3There is 72 ohms of resistance on both heat elements. 4There 110 VAC to the control board.Any help would be greatly appreciated. You can also try McColloch's RV at 916-929-3510.They've been great. I brought my rig in and they have had no problem fixing an item over replacing it.

Make and model of refer would be of help.Many refers have circuit board AC power relays that burn out.It maybe less expensive to just order the proper Dinosaur Electronics circuit board and replace it yourself. Dometic circuit boards are about $100.

Hi there everyone,

Ok, got the new board from Amazon. It looks like there was a failure at the main A/C resistor. The board is scorched under the big blue resistor. My question is, for anyone who replaced their board, did you have the same problem and did you have any problems after that?

Check to see if you actually have 12V coming to the control board- my converter when out and would only supply 8V when we had several lights on in the rv causing the voltage to drop

More expensive then the Dometic boards but maybe worth the dollars.

I know of a place in Brown Valley that does that kind of work. Fact they were the shop that installed the latest recall from Norcold on my coach. Brown Valley RV repair shop 530-742-2594. But it is like 68 miles north of Sacramento.
