I've had an RV account since 2002 and have used those receivers in my home when we're home. At one time the satellite providers required all receivers to be in one location but that requirement has seemed to fade away. It used to be in their Terms of Service. This was to keep someone from having 2, 3, 4 or more receivers and giving them to all their friends and neighbors.
Anyway, I'm current home and have my new DTV Genie setup here and when we go in the motorhome they go with me so you're good to go with what you want to do. IMHO
really now, How would dishnet know if your receiver was in your house or one a block away?
Yes! Really now! There used to be a requirement that all receivers on an account be plugged into a phone line. Dish (and DirecTV) would dial the number and if the receiver did not answer they would shut it down.
