We have DTV at home. We bought a tripod, oval DTV satellite dish with a SWM/LNB and take our receiver with us. Set up the tripod once we arrive at our destination, point the dish using the signal meter and boom HD TV on the go. Takes about 15 minutes. That receiver has no idea it is away from home once it gets the signal. in fact we get locals up to about 250 miles away but after that we use the crank up antenna for the locals.
Now we have no one left at home so no big deal about having DTV at home when we are gone.
