Willow13, if your motorhome has Tow Mode, make sure you engage it as you are beginnning your climb. It acts like a lower gear. I have heard some on this Forum who say that they drive with Tow Mode on all the time, but I only like to use it to get over steep hills. I have a 2008 32 foot Class C with a V-10 triton, and at first I was hesitant to step on the gas, but now, once I allow the engine to wind up, and allow it to drop down to a lower gear, without losing speed, and then I step on the gas a little heavier, and with Tow Mode, I find it easier to get up most grades, including the ones in Colorado.
