So here's my Story

last September wife and I are traveling from Long island to Hershey PA for the the RV show we get a rear blowout around 6 pm on the PA turnpike. called our road service three hours later a guy in a small compact shows up and realizes he can't do the job he says this is heavy duty (no kidding). Then around midnight another service shows up and determine that they left the heavy equipment back at the shop. they return around 2 am finally get the tire changed around 4 am. weekend at the show is fine. Going home on Sunday same side blows out in the rear this time the inside tire now I have no spare roadside service cant find a tire of our size in the area (New Jersey turnpike)after a three hour wait we tried to make it ten miles to our daughters house(our mistake) :S we make it there but the flapping rubber rips the circuit breaker wiring and puts holes in the under cabin bins (wood) now no power to anything although it will still drive purchased new tires drove it home and it is currently in the shop getting repairs. Afraid this will be a costly fix. :E but lesson learned should have stayed put but we were fed up.

Were those the original tires on the coach that blew out?

No they were changed about five years ago the reason they blew was nails or objects in the tires must have pick them up going through a construction site.

It IS about the road side service. They should have sent the correct equipment out the first time.

I dropped AAA for doing the same thing. Sent out a car guy twice before I angrily asked to speak to a supervisor and gave het the name of the local truck tire place.

Switched to Coachnet when I got home.

You are correct but I dealt with them and have switched to coach net as you did I did not want to start a bashing of my former service post

What roadside service? Did they not understand and convey to the service shop what they were supposed to do? Last Sept and you are only now just getting repairs? Why did it take so long to get repairs?

I think we're missing part of the story.

I don't really want to say which roadside service this is not about them they were good for a while but dropped the ball on this one yes they must not have relayed the proper information. As far as waiting to get repairs I got it home and then covered it our season was over so I tried to wait out the winter. There really is no other part of the story just a combination of errors we have switched roadside services
