spark plug wires
Has anybody had to replace the extenders between the coil & spark plug. Ford engine with a slight miss at light throttle. Reminds me of a bad spark plug wire.

- I replaced all my boots that last time I did plugs, which I think was around 265,000 (which means its been 105,000 :0 ). Mine were visibly is bad shape. If yours look fine, they probably are. But be sure to look at the spring and look for rust.
x2 on pulling any codes. Multiple-random misfires means you need new plugs. A single cylinder that is mis-firing almost always means a new coil pack is needed. I have needed 2 so far and just hit 358,000 miles. - If you check the codes, even without a check engine light on, it will likely tell you which cylinder has a miss.
- I would just replace the entire coil.
Assuming you have a V10.
