Tiffin vs Newmar
How do these folks compare when it comes to quality in production and service after the motorhome has been bought

If you read my post condinsation occured under the dash while we were parked using the roof air water seeping out between the dash seams.Why in the world would you launch an attack on me because I told of my experience? Are you a paid tiffin shill? I did not enjoy losing the money by unloading a year old coach(a potential buyer contacted me on trvn after I had traded he came to see the coach I told him all the issues he passed on the coach, that is why I traded I would not lie to a buyer) This remindes me why I do not visit this forum very often anymore. I try to help people by sharing my experiences. WHY DO YOU ATTACK THE MESENGER?
This is the first Tiffin warranty claim that was denied by Tiffin I have read about. Most on the tiffinrvnetwork site say just the opposite, as in warranty covered the cost some 5 years later.
I'm certain we have not heard the entire story either. You can usually tell the source from grammar alone :W
OBTW it is a well know issue that Tiffin does fix for you folks in the high humidity areas like south Florida. IIRC they will tape the ducks but most folks with common sense just turn on the genny and run the roof A/C's.

Friends' problems with Entegra, door fit problem, never totally cured, but they can live with it, slide leak problems at the bottom of slide when retracted immediately come to mind. Winnebago problems are too numerous to remember, bed problem, repeated slide problems with the famous Swintech slides, paint issues, etc. etc.

one repeated issue front cap to dash seal when humid water condensed inside the dash water would seep from the top to bottom dash joint mildew formed inside the dash(this was when camping running roof air although it occured while driving the cup holder in drawer would fill with water) several attempts to repair were made(expanding foam sprayed in) the second issue the parramount awning was holding water (tney corrected this on the 2015 and said they would fix ours) when we returned the coach to the dealer the tiffin rep told me they were not fixing the angle on 2014 awnimgs anymore and to only use it when it is not raining, he told me they did everything they could on the condensation issue "it is the way thy put the new dash in". We had anotner issue of drafts blowing in the slide under the fridge an ajustment was made I was told (by the tiffin rep)"that is as good as it gets". Third issue light streamed around the bed room slides(both sides) when open. There was a gap
between the slideout and the wall, the fix? Yep it was tape. No I did not take it to the factory and sit but I was told by the tiffin rep (not the dealer) that it was as good as it gets.The main reason I went with the Tiffin was the reported great service. I spent and lost a great deal of money it has a very big disappointment.

^^^ Pretty condescending post. I think that says a lot too. :W
As for not owning one, again, from the earlier thread;
In my case I fell for the hype and recommended it to my parents. I personally ended up working on theirs more in 5 years than I have all 3 of our Newmars combined, since 1999. Yet if you were to ask Mom today (Dad has since passed away) she would tell you what a wonderful MH it was - she never worked on it.
And it wasn't just one thing, it was always something. From poor design and engineering to terrible construction methods, something was always being worked on. We never did get the baggage doors to close without hitting each other. That's a fairly serious structural flaw.
I know a lot of people like them, I'm not one of them.
