tire pressure ?

In the link below, look at post number 33 (on page 3). There is a link for a PDF file by Samson Tire.

This PDF brochure does not have the load/inflation table, but it does have specifications, and it also lists the distributor's name.

At the end of the PDF is this info:

Maybe a phone call to Greatlakes Tire could help find a source for the Samson load/inflation tables.

Excellent link. The chart confirms what Grant from Bigfoot told me. All their 24' class C motorhomes (when they used to build them) rolled out the door with 65 psi in their Michelins.

yes...call the mfg or dealer but be sure to ask where to get a copy of the inflation chart and not what pressure to use. odds are the dealer won't know or will just tell you to inflate to whatever is on the sidewall. but remember you need to get your MH weighed.

if your tires were goodyear and mfg before 2/28/06 the minimum inflation would be 70-psi; for tires mfg after 2/28/06 the minimum inflation would be 80-psi. your dealer told you to use 85-psi. i'd leave them there, at 85-psi, until you get your MH weighed and have the inflation table in your hands.

I weighed it the weights are in the above message. The dealer installed the tires, not sure where they got them.

sorry...I didn't read carefully enough. based on those weights and if you had goodyear tires the minimum inflation would be as I posted...70-psi for tires made before 2/28/06 and 80-psi for tires made after that date. my advice is unchanged...leave them at 85-psi until you can check the inflation table for your tires.

I believe the big problem is that Sampson does not provide the chart he requires. I have the same issue. Both Goodyear and Michelin charts have 80-85psi minimum. My Coachman mirada 34mbs weighs 6000 front and 10,100 rear on scale which is below the minimum so I run 85psi.
