  • I have the 507 system and it works great. A month or so ago I checked my 5'er tire pressure at the campground and apparently didn't tighten one sensor enough when I put it back on. The next morning when I was leaving the site I had driven about 50' when the alarm went off. This one tire was down to my low set limit. I stopped after I left the park, it was early and I didn't want to wake everyone, fired up my generator and topped the tire off. It is still up after a month so I guess it was operator error - me.

I would not have known this tire was down a little if not for the 507 system.
  • You can do a search and read about somme of the experience I had with my TST. It took awhile to get it all up and working, but I will say one thing, the company was great to work with. I put the repeater in the engine compartment of my tow vehicle. I kept loosing a couple of tire signals, so at the suggestion of the company, I took the stub antenna off the monitor located in the motorhome and replaced it with the remote antenna. I had the remote antenna in the side window and still had problems, finally moved it to the center of the windshield on the motorhome, and everything works great now. The remote antenna has a long wire so you can move it around to various locations. For some reason, according to the company, my problems were very unusual, but like I said they worked with me. Almost a year after I bought the original unit, it was the one where you can't change the batteries youself, I was at Quartzsite and talked to them about my ongoing problem, and asked them what they would charge to switch to the units with the replacable batteries, they exchanged it out and didn't charge me anything, still didn't help the problems I was having, but it's all up and working great now.

  • I have the TST 507's. My MH is 36ft plus tow, I use it without the booster antenna. When at home with my toad in the garage, it is 100 ft to where I park the MH and I can pick up all my tire sensor on the monitor. I have never had a signal problem. Gary

It WILL keep you from having a blowout if you have a tire with a slow leak. It will warn you of low pressure prior to the tire getting hot and blowing with more than enough time to stop and get it repaired.

  • I've got the tst 510 sensors and have used them on two different coaches. On my shorter previous coach I got by with just the short antenna and could read all 6 of the coach tires and the 4 toad tires. On this longer coach I have to use the larger dipole antenna to read all of the sensors. I don't need the booster.

You may not need the booster. I mounted my dipole antenna near the top center of the windshield.

For over 4 years, the system has worked well and gives me comfort in knowing that I don't have a slow leak that may ultimately end with a blowout.
