Turbo the Ford V-10 in my motorhome ?
Any thoughts on the plumbing work to get er done and will this kill my mpg. Wife thinks I am nuts but I could pass the rice burners on the grapevine in Cali when towing my stacker.. :@

My understanding is the 5 speed trans is also installed behind Fords diesel truck and they have much more torque so the trans should be no issue.
I wonder if the same clutch packs are used in both. They may look the same on the outside but things could be a lot different inside.
I worked in engineering for a number of years with farm tractors. We had a transmission used on 110 through 180 hp tractors----all in the same housing and with same speeds. The internal parts were significantly different.
