Using elbow fitting for water hookup
For some time now I have been using a metal elbow to hook up my water hose (for ease of connection). I like them very much. The problem I have is that they only last a short time, then they start leak...

Dave.....Buy a metal male/female quick connect from Lowes/HD and permanently affix the male end to the coach. Connect the female end to the elbow and the water hose. Tighten them all with pliers. Now, all you have to do is quick connect the hose to the coach and not mess with any threaded connections. This makes life easy.
If you use an inline water regulator, attach it to the elbow before the hose or attach it the female end of the hose. Connect to water, and snap the quick connect to the coach and you're done.
