Wally Satelite

Still want to know what antenna is up there. There are VERY few (I have never seen one) Tailgators mounted on any RV roof.

Not Correct. The Tailgator IS able to be roof mounted. It has 4 mount holes in the bottom flange. It was originally designed to be free standing. They have a few mounts for this Dome. One is an optional roof rack that you clamp the Tailgator to for roof top mount and you quick release to remove from the roof for ground operation. The best way to test your cable is to run a 50 ft test Coax from your Dish receiver to the LNB 1 connection on the roof top dome. IF it works with the test cable and not with the original cable you need to troubleshoot where the original cable has its problem. Doug

check your cable between dish and receiver. Could have a loose connection or a bad cable. The first screen to come up should be a scan screen. Put in state you are in and then select scan. It will check your connection and if good will acquire satellite and then upload guide. Also make sure handle on dish is pointed to the north

I have been on the phone all nite with Dish and they tell me the tailgater is not turning on I don't know what to do it is a 2018 would it still be under warrenty? I just got it 2 weeks ago??its not right

thank you Doug I have been on the phone for hours talking and waiting I finely took it in the house and got it working I finally talked to someone that knew what he was doing ,I think they never turned me on,now I will take it to the motorhome

Dish came out to the motorhome and installed the Wally receiver and external hard drive . So far it works great. If we have any problems they gave us a number for tech support.

If your Dome is a Dish Tailgator, the power is supplied when you turn on the Wally receiver. The Tailgator has NO on and Off switch. Doug
