While driving down the highway, my warning light came on, along with a ringing bell noise that my leveling jacks are down. Scared the tar out of me, so I stopped to look. The jacks were all up and the warning stopped. About 10 minutes down the road, the warning started and stopped a few more times. Can I assume it is a bad sensor, or is there something else I should check?

Might hit retract. They don't have to down much to alarm.That alarm really says they are not all the way up.

Some models it means low fluid level.

Check the fluid level assuming you have a hydraulic system. When the jacks are retracted, on some systems, the fluid level controls the jack sensor. If the fluid level is low, the system can think the jacks are not fully retracted.I had this problem and all it took was just very little fluid to top off the tank and haven't had a problem since.Bill

Yep, this is a pretty common problem with HWH jacks. The jacks up indicator is controlled by the fluid level sensor.

NOPE. HWH jacks have a magnetic sensor in each jack.
OP needs to state brand of jacks as they all have different parameters for jack down. Doug

IF you have the Older Winne and you have the 300/310 series HWH jacks, you MUST push the STORE button after you start the Engine. The HWH manual states this. When the dash alarm goes off and you have HWH, you can tell which jack it is by looking at the touch pad panel. Doug

Ahh, I stand corrected then. I thought I recalled HWH using a fluid level sensor for the indicator. Thanks!

My Lippert jacks do that, especially in the spring. I probably need to bleed them, but once I get them cycled enough the problem goes away so I haven't tried to find the problem yet.
