Many have suggested how to wash.
I am going to suggest a great way to rinse. I take a garden sprayer that attaches to a hose and fill it with white vinegar. I put it on the highest setting and mist down the entire rig as a final rinse. it usually takes one refill of the sprayer. So, I use about 1/2 gallon each time I wash. The water sheets off really well.
We have pretty hard water and the vinegar removes the minerals that cause spots.
I dry the reachable part with a real chamois, but the top still air dries practically spot free.
