Washing your RV on the road

Sounds like I may have to try Blue Beacon-would one need to call ahead to make an appointment? Thanks for the input.

We've used Blue beacon several times and have been pleased with the results. $60-$65 for both 40' MH and Toad wash and spray wax. Not as good as hand wash and paste wax but a whole lot cheaper.

Also used mobile campground hand wash and wax for $7-$10 per foot.

I prefer Blue Beacon, as some others here have said. I have the custom POI for Blue Beacon loaded in my GPS and look for locations along the route when my bus gets too dirty.

We fulltime and so we're always "on the road" in one way or the other.
I have actually drug out the hose and washed it perhaps a half dozen times in 8 years. I've had it washed in Yuma at the park, so that it can get the roof pressure washed three times.
But I do take a damp microfiber towel and wipe it down as needed. Tires, I do take bucket of water and heavy mix of Dawn to wash them down, rinse with another bucket of water and dry.
Works for me.

We were at Glamis recently, and on a trip to Brawley, we stopped at a car wash (the area was large enough to get into...we're 37 feet)
It wasn't very easy, as the hoses weren't very long, and it would dry quickly before getting the rinse hose over there, but it worked in the long run :) We spent about $10..not much really.

I used to enjoy washing and detailing. For 10 years or so my hands only touched my RV's. I tried a Blue Beacon a couple years ago and that was it for me. Awesome wash for as little as $40 or full deal for about $50 (rain-ex & tire dressing). I also never pass up an opportunity at a RV park that offers a hand washing service. My rig has never looked better.

If we visit the several usual campgrounds, they let RVers wash their rigs.
Some State and County Campgrounds will let you wash them but there are probably plenty that don't.
We've found several caamp grounds won't let you wash your rig but a RV detailing or washing outfit is allowed because they get a big kickback.
Usually we just wash the windshield and front end if there for a day or two.
I hate t wash it or do now because it is so hard on us.
If it is going to rain and it is really dirty I have sudsed it up in the rain.
I hate a dirty rig as much as I hate a dirty car.
Used Blue Beacon in Ky once. Not clean in areas and took the wax off.
Ended up washing it the next day when we got to where it was warm enough.
