Depends what is in them. About every couple of years I spray a solution of 10% bleach and 90% water to get rid of mold and every year give them a good hosing out. Sometimes I have to use a pipe cleaner or straighten out paper clip to get hard parts.

you mean the drain holes on the interior side of window frames. Right? I saw the pupe cleaner. Did not know they were that big. Never cleaned mine obviously. We don't get condensation due to dehumidifier.
