- dialtonedaveExplorerI found and removed the house battery, have it charging in the garage and will find a better place for it tomorrow.
- Navy_SmokerExplorerHad a Sealtech leak test preformed. Didn't find anything major, but feel better that we found three small areas that hadn't shown from the inside and fixed them. Tomorrow will be real world test as we are expecting some serious rain over the next 24 hrs.
- HeeHawHoneyExplorerTook "The Hilton" for a ride today. This was my first time to actually ride in it. "The Beautiful Bulldog" went on the ride with us, and an hour into the ride, she finally quit panting and laid down behind the driver's seat. I think she finally realized that it was all good. Replaced the electric water heater element since the water wasn't getting hot on electric and that still didn't fix the problem. BF went through the wires and found a short between the the battery and the switch. He bypassed the switch and ran the wire straight to the element and now we have hot water!
- snowdanceExplorerTook the cover off and fluffed the tires. Checked every thing over. Decided to make a shopping trip so off to Costco over the Siskiyou pass on I-5. 120 mile round trip. Had a great lunch in the rig. Had a hard time when I got back to I-5 making it head back home. Rig ran great. Enjoy the power but had to keep backing off going over the pass. Guess its telling me its time to go..
- littlemoExplorerBought it!!
- woodworker414ExplorerAurabbit79er, all the reports I have read about Eternabond, the stuff is fantastic. Probably the last time a person will have to address the caulk areas of the roof. I paln on doing anything on the roof that has caulk. Its getting its first test right now. Its raining. I will say one thing the stuff is really sticky. I put it down ahd the flat areas I rolled it witha small roller, the other areas around screw heads I used my fingers to make sure it was down tight. The surface needs to be clean and dry, and you are good to go. I would say this is the stuff your buddy could use with good results.

Sanitize the water system today, then refilled it for a day trip tomorrow. Open the windows and the roof vents to let the fresh air blow through. Put Eternabond tape around the base plate of the antenna.
Great day to be outside.

I have a buddy with a popup that leaks. Would that Eternabond tape work to seal a seam? - ginasevenExplorerI dropped it off at my local service department (3R RV, Union MO), they will be making it safe to pull the horse trailer. The frame is already reinforced and gusetted (sp?) Air bags will be installed and the hitch updated to an equalizer hitch. They are installing my TV, changing the oil, servicing the generator and filling the propane. So as you can see, I have absolutely no mechanic ability and I hate it. So glad to have a great service department. Come on Spring!
- taylorgsoExplorer(Yesterday) had the coach to the dealer. Had the Carryout Antenna hard-wired into the coach. Didn't want to try this myself - Have never done a through the roof penetration and didn't want to experiment doing it on a brand new coach. At any rate, it again worked perfectly and will be nice to be able to pull into a campsite at night and not have to worry about going outside to hook the dish up. I checked out the Ladder mount and it remains tight, so I am becoming less concerned about wind loading on the dome while under way.
