- GreyghostExplorerI don't know about a Fisher Paykel, but my wife has her own personal Fisher dishwasher. :B:B:B:B
- RLHAMILTONExplorerWe had model # DD24SCX7 installed in our Berkshire. Wife loves it. Good luck.
- Mile_HighExplorerHey, I'm doing the same thing on my Meridian. I actually bought the DD24SCX7 on Amazon and it showed up damaged so I returned it. I will go local here for $650 - but caution, they redeisgned the stainless versions and not sure of the fit. I'm debating grabbing the prior version while I still can vs the new one (DD24SAX9).
Are you doing the work yourself? My first thought it to occupy the bottom two drawers so the top drawer is accessible, but it might drain better occupying the top two. - Blaster_ManExplorer

Thanks for the reply. Yes, I would do the work. Only problem is my unit is a 40R. Check out the floor plan. The full wall slide where the cook top is has water and power, but for the life of me I can't figure out how to get the gray line hooked up. With a static sink and drain line I could install it on the other slide but would loose use of all drawers under counter. - Mile_HighExplorerWell, that is a dilemma! I hadn't seen that floorplan by the way - I checked it out on a video and looks nice! You'll have to let me know how you like the instant hot water system.
I don't know how you would git rid of the gray. My kitchen slide has a space between the sliding portion where the sink is and the stationary bathroom wall with about 6 inches between, wrapped in a rubber boot type thing. Behind that boot is where the gray water flex hose goes from the slide down through the main floor to the tank eventually.
Without that, I don't know where you could hide the gray. How does the water run to that pot faucet? Wondering if you could follow that back.
Just from the video - I don't think the drawer set in the drivers side slide on yours are wide enough for the dishwasher. Mine should fit in place of those two lower drawers. I just have to figure out how to widen the opening about 1 inch on each side. - drwwicksExplorerWe have the Itasca Horizon 40FD and the dishwasher is in the front drivers side slide, the sink just to the aft is not in the slide. The drain goes to the sink with a fair amount of flex hose, up and connects to the right sink in a sanitary Y. In that application, make sure the drain connection has a decent loop in it or the sink may splash drain backwards into the DW. Hope that makes sense.
