Not that I want to start a discussion on IFTA. But motorhomes and truck campers are not exempt if the are used in a business or commercial situation. I realize IFTAs role. I was only comparing language to hopefully better understand the AZ tax.

Don't count me in the non-believers. I'm convinced you found somebody that told you that, but I'm also convinced they are reading their own laws wrong. At least that guy was. Didn't somebody else post on here that they talked to a different person in a different agency who said RV's were excluded?

I guess you could call the department of Arizona State Parks and try to find someone, however, it seems clear to me that they give a phone number to call with questions on their published information. That would be the place to go and likely the only place that can give a definitive answer. However, it seems some here are convinced that they know better than the State of Arizona how to interpret the State's laws and they don't even live there. Too funny.

I can not call that number. I'm in CA now and that is a AZ toll free number. I have calls into the fuel tax fraud enforcement office, forgot name. Plus I will call others...at least two more. ADOT has told me all RVs are exempt. You have been told they are not.

Yes I do. Thought I pretty much covered it in my answer. And how I thought the two were similar in language.
