- the_bear_IIExplorerWell my DW just discovered if you take the wings and or drummettes, sprinkle on Tanquin or your favorite seasoning and cook them in a Tfal ActiFry,they come out great with crunchy skin and moist meat.
She got her Actifry from HSN.... Here's the website for Actifry http://tfalactifry.com/ - Super_DaveExplorerLately we have been using a packet of Baja Citrus marinade with some lime juice and cilantro added. Justification has been that they are healthier than the bbq sauce slathered variety. And they taste darn good too!
- Old-BiscuitExplorer IIII take a large packet of wings and BBQ them with just salt/pepper.
After they are done I put them in a bowl with whatever sauce I have at the time and shake/stir until coated......Sesame Seed Thai Marinade, Franks Hot Sauce, Lime Jerk Marinade. Mix it up...don't have to be just old BBQ Sauce - The_Dung_BeetleExplorerI got a Camerons Tabletop Smoker last Dec and just recently started to use it. SERIOUSLY? It has been the HIT of every camping trip we have been on. This little gem smokes, and cooks chicken wings to PERFECTION! We've done 16 lbs of wings in the last month. We have had huge success putting a nice "smoke" on fresh salmon steaks too. This is not meant to replace your big bad boy smokers.. it's for kitchens, portable bbq, gas and electric stoves - beyond PERFECT for traveling!
I'm not affiliated with this product on ANY level (no $ kickbacks), but we are sold on it!!
Cameron's Tabletop Smoker
Here's Tony Neely showing off his chicken wing magic using the Cameron smoker. Personally, I think he cooks the wings wayyyyy tooooo long! I smoke our wings for about 80 min (it's important that you know what setting on your stove is actually MEDIUM). The oven is smoking at about 375°. Then, put on the BBQ sauce of your choice after you've vented the unit for about 5 minutes.
Cameron Smoker In Action
I'm for sure going to try some wings with the recipe provided by Super Dave. Sounds delish! Thanks Super Dave!
. - Desert_CaptainExplorer IIIJust roll them in seasoned flour(I like Cayanne, garlic powder and pepper.Bake at 425-450, after 20 minutes turn them andcontinue for 20-25 minutes more until crispy. Season with Cajun hot sauce and Ranch dressing.
- The_Dung_BeetleExplorerSuper Dave...
Just for funzies...
Baja Citrus Marinade - scratch
I'd be using the packet kind on the road, but at home I'm prone to mixing up my own.
* - crimmps49ExplorerThanks Dung Beetles--I put this on my Christmas list. I wonder how a pork roast or pork chop would be in it--yummy.

There's a cookbook you can get Cameron's Stovetop Smoker - Updated Edition
But...it comes with quite a few recipes. I found the wings one that I really like on Youtube (I posted the link). I'm going to smoke some meatballs for Hoagie sandwiches this weekend...lol I'm just playing and having a blast. We have a nice sized smoker on our back deck, but when it's freezing outside this is going to be more fun then a barrel of monkeys - smoking on the kitchen stove...LOL. You can bet whatever I'm serving on Super Bowl Sunday is going to have a big ol' platter of smoked wings in the mix.
. - Big_KatunaExplorer III heard this on NPR and at first said "Yeah, RIGHT".
Then I thought it through on what it really was, tried it and fell in love. Its like a Thai sauce.
PBJ wings.
Thats right, peanut butter and jelly wings. OK, and soy sauce and Sriracha sauce, too. (which is called Silly cha cha sauce in our house).
I Googled various ones and fooled around with my own version, which was equal parts of PB and grape jelly, about a C each. I am going to try Apricot or peach next. Equal parts soy and Silly Cha Cha sauce, about a T each. Thin with how water to get the consistency you want.
Some add vinegar.
Another standby is go to a Korean grocery and get some Gochujang. Its a sweet/spicy sauce and then I add anybodys wing sauce. We really like Tabascos Wing sauce but there are lots of good ones.
Then of course, is old school butter and Louisiana Hot sauce. Blenderized with canned Jalapenos if you are brave. - MPI_MallardExplorerWe do em' on the grill, Frau Blücher will clean them, cut off the wing tips then oil the grill, cook em' up then when there done she put's em' in two foil trays on the grill one with MPI_Bubba'Q Sawse an' t'other with good ol' Faranks hot sauce (We put that **** on everything) then strap on the bib and go into a wing feedin' frenzy!!!!!
