LOL @ Homer AND the red green quote. Wing feeding fenzy... VERY well put! I've not seen either of those hot sauces here, but will keep my eyes open for them in our travels.

Can't go wrong with Sweet Baby Rays!
I didn't mention this, but I always remove the tips from the wings too.
It's my own recipe-
MPI_Bubba' Q Sawse,
You'll need a large ketchup bottle to store in,in a large sauce-pan combine;
1cup-yellow mustard [use the cheap stuff]
1cup-ketchup [use the cheap stuff]
1 cup-white vinegar
1 cup-dark brown sugar
1 tablespoon -garlic powder
1 tablespoon-onion powder
1 tablespoon-black pepper
1 teaspoon-cayenne pepper
1 teaspoon-kosher sea salt
Optional;
add 1/2-cup-honey
add 1TBSP-chilli powder
add 1 cup-malt vinegar
Bring to a simmer over LOW HEAT until sugar is combined
let cool and store in bottle.
MPI_Mallard's Rib Rub
•1/2 cup brown sugar
•1/4 cup paprika
•1 tablespoon black pepper
•1 tablespoon Kosher Sea salt
•1 tablespoon garlic powder
•1 tablespoon onion powder
•1 teaspoon cayenne
•1 teaspoon Ceasar Rim
•1 tablespoon Dry Mustard
•1 tablespoon "La Grille" Lemon and Herbs
Skin ribs(remove inner membrane), Tim off waste, rinse and pat dry with paper towels, coat liberally
with rub mixture front and back and let sit for one hour, longer
is better. Cook ribs low n' slow and when the bend in half when
you pick the up with tongs sauce them then tent for 20 minutes
then mow down!!!
Combine all ingredients together on a bowl and store I an air-tight
container. - phenrichsExplorerI have recently discovered a new recipe for wings that I absolutely love.
Not what most people would go for when think BBQ but BBQ is in how you make it.
Italian dressing
Honey
lemon juice
red pepper flake
salt
pepper
then grill the wings over indirect heat for 10-15 minutes. At that point you start basting with the mixture every few minutes.
DELICIOUS - TexasShadowExplorer III use McCormack's buffalo wings seasoning. I put the wings in a zip lock bag, give them a healthy dose of good olive oil, then pour the seasoning in and shake/knead the bag of wings. usually, I use two packages of the seasoning mix.
I let the wings marinate awhile or even all day and then put them on the grill or in the oven.
If you want them hotter, you can add some hot pepper sauce to the marinade.
Or add some BBQ sauce if you like them sweeter, etc. - The_Dung_BeetleExplorerI think this is the NPR recipe Big Kutuna mentioned...
SPICY PB & JELLY CHICKEN WINGS
The actual recipe is about 1/3 the way down the page.
*BAM*.. in the recipe file. :B
Thanks! - The_Dung_BeetleExplorerFun....

Can't go wrong with Sweet Baby Rays!
I didn't mention this, but I always remove the tips from the wings too. - Kit_CarsonExplorerWe do like MPI MALLARD but we use Sweet Baby Ray's Wing Sauce. After I cut the tips off the wings I usually boil them to make good chicken broth for later use. Love me some wings with LSU football.
- MPI_MallardExplorerWe do em' on the grill, Frau Blücher will clean them, cut off the wing tips then oil the grill, cook em' up then when there done she put's em' in two foil trays on the grill one with MPI_Bubba'Q Sawse an' t'other with good ol' Faranks hot sauce (We put that **** on everything) then strap on the bib and go into a wing feedin' frenzy!!!!!
- Big_KatunaExplorer III heard this on NPR and at first said "Yeah, RIGHT".
Then I thought it through on what it really was, tried it and fell in love. Its like a Thai sauce.
PBJ wings.
Thats right, peanut butter and jelly wings. OK, and soy sauce and Sriracha sauce, too. (which is called Silly cha cha sauce in our house).
I Googled various ones and fooled around with my own version, which was equal parts of PB and grape jelly, about a C each. I am going to try Apricot or peach next. Equal parts soy and Silly Cha Cha sauce, about a T each. Thin with how water to get the consistency you want.
Some add vinegar.
Another standby is go to a Korean grocery and get some Gochujang. Its a sweet/spicy sauce and then I add anybodys wing sauce. We really like Tabascos Wing sauce but there are lots of good ones.
Then of course, is old school butter and Louisiana Hot sauce. Blenderized with canned Jalapenos if you are brave. - The_Dung_BeetleExplorerCrimmps49
There's a cookbook you can get Cameron's Stovetop Smoker - Updated Edition
But...it comes with quite a few recipes. I found the wings one that I really like on Youtube (I posted the link). I'm going to smoke some meatballs for Hoagie sandwiches this weekend...lol I'm just playing and having a blast. We have a nice sized smoker on our back deck, but when it's freezing outside this is going to be more fun then a barrel of monkeys - smoking on the kitchen stove...LOL. You can bet whatever I'm serving on Super Bowl Sunday is going to have a big ol' platter of smoked wings in the mix.
