I've been wanting to say that this thread is bologna.:B - 2_campersExplorerWell when I was a little fellow my Mom would get bologna in a tube about 6 inches long and make it with Sour kraut. Now you got me hungry!
- KA4EBUExplorerA stick of balogna
Take the wrapping off.
Get a piece of thin walled tubing ahout 3/4 inch in diameter(not sure where got ours, has a long time - ours is chrome and looks like a plumbing item?)
Push the tubing all the way through the stick of bologna, we do about 8 - 10.
Stuff the holes with peppers, salsa, cheeses or whatever your pleasure.
Cut the ends off the sticks of bologna and use to plug the holes.
Score the bologna in square pattern and use what ever your pleasure or nothing.
Put on the grill and brown the bologna 'til light brown.
Wrap in foil and put on low heat for 3 or 4 hours.
THE Best. - Leo_BensonExplorerIf I REALLY get a craving for Lebanon bologna or Thuringer I will make a lean turkey sandwich and put one thin slice of Lebanon bologna on. But I'm really not supposed to have processed lunch meat at all. I get lunch meat occasionally from Whole Foods because its not as processed (nitrates/nitrates etc)

1/2 slice of garlic bologna, big slice of onion, swiss or other cheese, mustard, mayo etc
Fry the balony until nearly burned, melt cheese on top, fry the onion until soft.
Put on a large pretzel or kaiser bun add the spices you like, get a beer and some german potato salad and eat like a bavarian king.
Are you sure your not from Philly??? I grew up on that camping with my parents!!! They used to caramelize onions in the skillet and then fry the Bologna in the same pan,, then throw a slice of swiss on it,,, Heap of onions,Bologna, cheese on a almost burnt bun!!!! With YELLOW mustard!!! And a Jewish pickle on the side!!!! (from a pickle barrel)...Oh yeah,, in the pine barrens of Jersy!!! - hokeypokeyExplorerMy favorite while camping, boil a big pot of water. Add a ring of bologna, sweet corn, new potatoes, peeled carrots and cook until done. Drain and eat.
- fchammer1ExplorerI have a son-in-law whose favorite sandwich is Lebanon Bologna and potato chips on white bread. I think both are a bit weird.

Fried Lebanon Baloney sandwiches. OK to add cheese, but other than that you just don't screw with Lebanon Baloney.

My DW takes a chub of bologna and grinds it in the food processor along with relish, mustard and mayo....instant sandwich spread. Very tasty.
Do that but use the ring style bologna.
